AWE headed to Asia this October 17-18, 2015 to produce the largest augmented reality event in China in partnership with Ginwa and ARinChina. The event was held in Xi’an, the Silicon Valley of Western China, with over 45 speakers, 60 exhibitors and 1000 attendees.
Our last event in Silicon Valley held June 8-10, 2015 saw nearly 3000 attendees, 208 speakers and 102 exhibitors from the augmented and virtual reality, wearable tech and the internet of things space making it our biggest year yet.
Our next event is in Silicon Valley in June of 2016.

AugmentedReality.Org, the producer of AWE for the past six years partnered with Ginwa and ARinChina to host Asia’s largest Augmented Reality event ever. Our goal was to connect the world’s innovative AR companies with the massive number of Chinese end users and developers.
The event took place in Xi’an, China – Western China’s Silicon Valley – on October 17-18 with over 1,000 attendees, 45 speakers and 60 exhibitors.
The Ginwa Investment Group is proud to partner with AugmentedReality.org to host AWE Asia in Xian, China. Xi’an, “The Silicon Valley of Western China”, plans to open in 2015 the world’s first international park dedicated to Augmented Reality technology and is offering AR companies significant benefits to establish a base in the 4000 square meters AR innovation zone. This includes free offices, potential capital investments, and helping build infrastructure and relationships in the Chinese market.
